	If you require weekend support - you are left in an endless telephone queue with repeated messages over and over about car crime statistics and motoring problems - eventually, if your are patient enough (I waited 18 minutes). - I suppose that's why they are cheap. User Rating GET QUOTE

	I found Direct Line car insurance to be a fantastic service. The cover was quick to complete, with no long winded forms etc. The lady was helpful, and I had no problems. When I had a crash just before Christmas last year, which was not my fault, I rang them to tell them what had happened. They were quite helpful. Although all they said was they would send some details out, which they did. To get a courtesy car and sort out compensation I had to speak to the other company, and they refused to tell me any of this or any details, leaving me to have to ring the police back and ask myself. That was the only infuriating thing about them. They were very helpful when I cancelled my policy, as I was leaving for university, and the only reason I don't insure my car with them now was because the Post Office was offering a £50 cashback deal. Very handy!! Also, I'm lucky to have lots of spare time in my job, and I spent over 3 hours looking at quotes from companies. And although I found these to be the cheapest (£750 first years insurance), I also found them to be far far cheaper than most insurers, eg. Diamond, who I think quoted me around £1400!!!
