Norwich Union Direct car insurance seems to be pretty good, but it's always worth doing a new quote rather than taking the renewal figure. The price is good for the level of cover, especially breakdown and European.
I have two cars insured with Norwich Union Direct, and I have always found their approach to be professional and courteous. There has been a slight price rise this year, but it is not astronomical. They are also very quick to sort out claims.
